Mason and I loved our brother and sister in Christ. Jack and Virginia Atkins and their three boys. What a wonderful, loving family they were. Loss of friends would be so difficult if we did not know about Christ’s promises for us. Virginia, enjoy the reward God has prepared for you. It must be beyond anything we can even imagine.

Dear Ed, Alice and family, As I said in my Facebook post, what a legacy Mrs. Atkins leaves her family. I vaguely recall meeting her at Allied Medical one day many years ago. I got to thinking how 'full circle' life has taken me. While I have never met Dr. Atkins (but know he was a business partner in the medical supply) and I've only communicated with Jim via e-mail, I feel quite certain the pride Mrs. Atkins had in her sons was well deserved. May God continue to hold you close today and in the days ahead. Thank you, Ed and Alice, for a 42 year friendship and constant encouragement you've been throughout my adulthood. Ed & Alice, How ironic you were just telling me she was still living at 97. Didn't expect to see this just a few days later. I'm sorry for your loss. Even at this age and knowing she is in a better place, it's tough to lose a Mother.
